Thanks for visiting Vinea’s website. Please read this page before using our site, or before buying anything online with us. We’ve tried to make it a quick read – and easy to understand. If there’s something you’re not sure of though, please get in touch.
1. Saying Yes to Us
a. If you decide to use our website to browse or shop, you’re saying yes to our terms and conditions. If you don’t agree with any part of our policies, then please do not use our site. If you’re registering an account with us, or buying online, we’ll always specifically ask you to agree to our terms. If you’re registering an account then you’re also agreeing to be bound by them.
Oh, and you’ve got to be at least 18 years of age to use our website and buy anything from us. If you’re browsing, contacting us or making a purchase, then you’re telling us that you’re 18 and legally allowed to buy alcohol.
c. We might decide from time to time to change the details of our terms and conditions, and we’ll do so by updating this page.
2. Age Policy
We’ve said it before, but we’ll say it again:
a. We won't sell wine to anyone who isn't 18 years old or over. Sorry, but that's the law. By placing an order you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.
b. If you are buying a case of wine as a gift - the recipient must also be over 18 years old.
c. If our couriers are in any doubt about the age of the recipient on delivery, they will request some form of ID. If the person receiving the wine is unable to produce appropriate ID, unfortunately our couriers will be unable to leave the wine.
d. Sorry to have to state the obvious, but once the wine has been delivered, according to your original delivery instructions, it becomes the recipient's responsibility.
a. If you are nervous about shopping on the web, don't be. We use secure servers with state-of-the-art encryption and secure sockets layer (SSL) technology for the transfer of credit card information. Additionally, we have security measures in place to protect our customer database and access to this database is restricted internally.
b. It is your responsibility to protect your password from being disclosed to any third party.
a. We make sure your personal information is kept private and stored securely until a time it is no longer required or has no use, as detailed in the Data Protection Act 1998.
b. We will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties. At all.

So if you order a case of wine, and we can no longer supply it, we will get in touch with you to find out if you would like us to supply an alternative or credit you in full.
