Terms and Conditions

1. Validity

These terms of trade govern the sale and supply of goods by Vineyard Wines LTD to you. Vineyard Wines LTD may amend these terms from time to time. You shall be notified of any amendments by a notice on the Vineyard Wines LTD site.

2. Vineyard Wines LTD Contract With You.

No contract shall exist between you and Vineyard Wines LTD until Vineyard Wines LTD has sent you an email confirming receipt and acceptance of your order. Vineyard Wines LTD is entitled to withdraw from any contract in the case of obvious errors or inaccuracies regarding the goods or the order appearing on Vineyard Wines LTD site or for unavailability (see 3. below). Vineyard Wines LTD reserves the right to place restrictions on the volume of any goods ordered. By placing an order for products with age restrictions you declare that you are of legal age to purchase those products.

3. Pricing and Availability

The prices and availability of the goods are specified on the Vineyard Wines LTD site. Such information is subject to change without notice. Each price, as displayed, is inclusive of VAT (at the standard UK rate). There shall be an additional charge for delivery, the amount of which shall vary according to the delivery method that you choose. In the unlikely event that the goods are unavailable, or that Vineyard Wines LTD needs to vary the price due to supplier price increases, tax changes or site errors for example, following confirmation of your order Vineyard Wines LTD shall send you a notification by email and allow you the opportunity to cancel your order if Vineyard Wines LTD has not done so itself.

4. Delivery of Goods

Vineyard Wines LTD shall deliver the goods ordered to the delivery address which you supply. All delivery times quoted on the Vineyard Wines LTD site are estimates only based on availability, normal processing and delivery time. Vineyard Wines LTD may deliver items in an order separately but shall charge you for postage and packing on the first delivery only. Your credit card will be debited on despatch of your order. Title to the goods will pass to you on payment in full. Risk will pass to you on delivery.

5. Returns and Refunds

Any items which are faulty may be returned for an immediate replacement or refund. If a part is faulty, we will also reimburse your return postage charges. Goods ordered in error may be returned to us in original unused condition. After 7 days goods ordered in error will be subject to a 50% handling and restocking charge UNLESS the error is on our part, in which case a full refund or replacement will be given. All returns must be posted at your expense. Refunds will not be given until we have received the goods. In all instances, please contact us by telephone or e-mail to arrange your refund or replacement. Should any goods ordered prove faulty or sub-standard, your carriage charges will be refunded.

6. EU VAT

Vineyard Wines LTD is required to collect VAT at the relevant rate for orders being dispatched outside the UK. If VAT rates in the country of the destination of your order differ from those in the UK, the VAT will be recalculated and included in the product prices shown on the Order Summary page.

7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

Contracts between you and Vineyard Wines LTD shall be governed by English Law and all disputes shall be submitted to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

8. Invalidity of Terms and Conditions

If for any reason part of these terms and conditions is unenforceable, the validity of the remaining terms and conditions shall not be affected.

9. Privacy Statement

Vineyard Wines LTD Commitment to Privacy. Vineyard Wines LTD is committed to protecting the privacy of those using our site and the confidentiality of the personal information which our customers provide us with. We use the information we collect to provide services and to ensure that your order is processed smoothly. Beyond that we only use personal information if volunteered by you. Vineyard Wines LTD will never sell personal information or share personal information with third parties unless these are involved to fulfill your order.
